Save Our Bank gathering: Manchester, Sat 18th November
Our second annual Gathering is just under two weeks away! We’ll be meeting at the Mechanics Institute in Central Manchester on Saturday, November 18th to discuss our movement to hold the Co-operative Bank to account on its ethical policy and campaign for cooperative ownership.
At the Gathering we’ll be taking stock of where we are now following the bank’s capital raising plan and the Customer Union’s online vote on whether to accept it - see below on how to take part - and we’ll be discussing our strategies for the future. We should also have a representative of the bank joining the discussion. View the full agenda here.
We ask a contribution of ten pounds for those attending in person to help cover lunch and room hire.
Join online
If you can’t make it to Manchester to join us in person, you can also join by webinar. Sign up for the free ticket on our EventBrite page to register for this.
Voting now
Customer Union members are voting now on whether to accept the deal agreed by the Co-op Bank with its investors to provide £700m capital funding, and stick with the bank. If you’re a member you will have received an email with instructions on how to vote. If you’re not yet a member, sign up by Saturday and you’ll receive instructions on how to join the vote.

See you there?
With best wishes
