Dawn joined the board in May 2023, and has been a member of the CUEB since it started in 2016, and has banked with Smile, the Co-operative Bank’s fully digital offering, since it began in 1999. She has worked within the non-profit sector for over 20 years, and has specialisms in fundraising, marketing and operations, operating both charity-side and as a consultant or interim with organisations.
Her motivation to join the board is twofold, firstly to work towards ensuring that not only does the Bank remain true to its ethical and campaigning origins, leading the way for other banks to step up in this area, but secondly to push for the Bank’s online and app offerings to stay relevant and keep pace with world around it - as failing to do this is a threat to maintaining its customer base.
