Alice joined the board as she is interested in ethical finance and alternative ownership models, and has been a member of the customer union since 2018. Her knowledge of ethical and sustainable finance was developed by participating in the Friends of the Earth Ownit programme with some colleagues, and through being a regular reader of Ethical Consumer magazine. Alice is currently the manager of Sutton Community Farm, a community benefit society owned by its 400 members. Alice hopes that her experience of recruiting and engaging the farm's membership, and it's vegbox customers, will be helpful for the union as it looks to develop and expand.
